Corruption has firmly taken root in the BJP government. Under the BJP government, neither patients are able to get medicines nor doctors and nurses are available on time. Due to corruption, there is also a scam in the food provided to pregnant women and patients in hospitals.
Poor quality food is being given to pregnant women in the government hospitals of Balrampur. Patients are refusing to take it. Due to the poor quality of hospital food, patients are now forced to order food and snacks from their homes. There are also complaints that breakfast and food are not being served on time. Food should reach the patients, but here the patients themselves or attendants stand in line to take food. The food chart made for pregnant women is also not followed. What could be a bigger failure than that patients are not even able to get food under the double engine government of BJP?
In Lucknow’s Lohia Hospital, as there is no arrangement for the stay of patients coming from other districts, patients and attendants are forced to lie outside in the open. Patients have been seen sleeping in the emergency gallery of this hospital. Due to lack of examination of the patient, the sick lie down in the open after lighting incense sticks to ward off mosquitoes.
These days, dengue and viral fever are very prevalent. There are long queues of their patients in hospitals. This is exposing the BJP government. Recently, 52 children were found being treated on 35 beds in Deoria. Due to shortage of beds in the hospitals of Firozabad, patients lying on stretchers were being given drip. The patient is in distress, the health system is indifferent.
Patients are facing a lot of problems in two famous medical institutions KGMU and Lari Hospital in Lucknow. From getting the form made to getting the test done, people have to run to ten places. Doctors see less patients at night and try to save themselves by referring them to other hospitals. The screams of patients in the holding area of KGMU are disturbing.
The Chief Minister and Health Minister of the state, who have now become public servants, are not showing pity on the condition of the patients. Patients are suffering the arbitrary actions of doctors. Chaos and corruption are being promoted everywhere. The BJP government is not concerned with the sufferings, illness, helplessness of the people. She is just protecting the interests of the capitalists. The public is also now waiting for the Lok Sabha elections of 2024 when it will remove BJP from power with its voting rights.
