BI News,Lucknow:  In view of the Lok Sabha elections, the efforts to unite the opposition parties have intensified. Continuous efforts are being made towards including Bahujan Samaj Party in the India alliance in Uttar Pradesh. Congress leaders themselves also want an alliance with BSP so that balance can be maintained. Congress spokesperson also confirms this.
He believes that by forming an alliance with BSP, other things will also become easier in the elections.

While there will be less tussle in the alliance, seats can also be easily obtained.
He said on the condition of anonymity that the way Samajwadi Party leaders are trying to dominate the alliance. That cannot be tolerated at any cost. SP’s position in the last Lok Sabha is not hidden from anyone. Whereas BSP had performed better than SP. As far as Congress is concerned, there has been tremendous improvement in the situation of Congress. Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra has attracted the general public. Now people have realized that Congress can play a big role in defeating BJP in the Lok Sabha. Especially among Dalits, minorities and backward classes, there is hope about Congress.
Minorities are also realizing that Congress can stop BJP in a better way than regional parties. India alliance has further increased the expectations of the general public.
At such a time, any political party that tries to weaken the alliance will have to pay a heavy price for it.

He said that even if an attempt is being made to escalate minor disputes between the parties involved in the India alliance, it will not have any impact on the alliance. He said that if we look at the latest statement of the SP chief as an example, there is a softening in it. Because the leaders of the parties involved in the India alliance are quite mature and the alliance does not break at the slightest dispute. It is natural for this to happen in a democracy. These are not NDA parties where only BJP runs.
He said that efforts are being made to present his views to BSP through various channels. BSP leaders themselves also realize that they cannot defeat BJP alone. Now even in BSP it is not the same as before. Many of its leaders have formed their own parties and BSP has suffered losses due to this. Because no party wants to be tarnished by the fact that BJP won because of it. The Congress leader said that there is still a lot of time. Every party is continuously working hard on the ground.
