BI News, Jharkhand : In a significant move, Chief Minister Hemant Soren distributed private job offer letters to 5132 young men and women at the Palamau ground. The event, named ‘Pramandal Rojgar Mela’, was organized at the Police Lines stadium. Present at the event were Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam, Labor Planning Minister Satyanand Bhokta, along with legislators Baijnath Ram and Ramchandra Singh, and Chief Minister’s Secretary Vinay Choubey.
From the stage, Chief Minister Soren handed out symbolic offer letters to 30 youths, emphasizing the government’s commitment to providing employment opportunities for the state’s youth. He highlighted the initiation of the Chief Minister’s Vehicle Scheme to connect villages with cities, ensuring enhanced connectivity across the state.
Speaking passionately, Chief Minister Soren affirmed the government’s priority to provide employment to the state’s youth, both in the public and private sectors. He shared that similar employment fairs in the past three months had provided offer letters to 27,000 youths. The government has also expedited the recruitment process in various departments, filling more than 20,000 positions. Furthermore, processes for nearly 40,000 positions through Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) are underway.
Chief Minister Soren underscored that the government is not only offering jobs but also providing support for competitive exams and assisting youths in pursuing courses like medical, engineering, and law. Skill development training programs are also being conducted to enhance the employability of the state’s youth.

Expressing his commitment to the welfare of farmers and laborers, Chief Minister Soren encouraged them to participate in the Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, promoting agriculture and increasing their income. He announced the initiation of the Abuha Housing Scheme, aiming to fulfill the dreams of eight lakh people by providing them with their own homes. Additionally, the Chief Minister’s Rural Vehicle Scheme will facilitate easy transportation for approximately one crore people.
Chief Minister Soren emphasized the state’s cultural heritage, art, and sports, and announced the hosting of prestigious national and international competitions in Jharkhand. He highlighted efforts to develop sports grounds in every village and panchayat, ensuring a bright future for local talents. He encouraged the people to actively participate and contribute to the state’s development.
In his closing remarks, Chief Minister Soren expressed gratitude for the collective efforts that have enabled Jharkhand to overcome challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic and drought. He reiterated the government’s commitment to inclusivity, ensuring that every section of society becomes a stakeholder in the state’s progress.
