BI News,Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today flagged off the Rabi Mahabhiyan promotional chariots for all the districts on the occasion of the inauguration of Rabi Mahabhiyan- 2023 from 1 Anne Marg.
Rabi Maha Abhiyan is being launched for the success of Rabi-2023. In this campaign, farmers will be given information about the schemes run by the Agriculture Department related to Rabi season, and will also be made aware about crop residue management and the damage caused to the soil and environment due to burning of crop residue in the fields. Farmers will be given information about Rabi crops, promotion of organic farming, seasonal agricultural programs and crop diversification.
Farmers will also be given information about various dimensions of the Fourth Agricultural Road Map. After flagging off the campaign chariots, the Chief Minister also released a booklet related to Rabi Mahabhiyan – 2023. During the program, Agriculture Department Secretary Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him a green sapling.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, Agriculture Minister Kumar Sarvjeet, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Chief Secretary Aamir Subhani, Agriculture Department Secretary Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal, Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Minister Gopal Singh, Director, Agriculture Department Alok Ranjan Ghosh were present.
