Representatives from the Peace Committee expressed their commitment to organizing Durga Puja festivities in Ranchi with communal harmony and mutual cooperation. The meeting, attended by all members of the committee and relevant stakeholders, highlighted the significance of unity in diversity during the religious celebration.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha welcomed all members of the Peace Committee and stressed the importance of support from the district administration for the successful organization of Durga Puja. He urged everyone’s participation to make the event grand and inclusive.
DC emphasized the need for participation from people of all faiths, underlining the essence of religious tolerance and brotherhood during the celebrations. He urged the members of the Peace Committee to promptly resolve any minor disputes and report significant issues to the district administration for appropriate action, ensuring strict adherence to the law.
The Deputy Commissioner also cautioned against the misuse of social media, urging citizens to use social platforms responsibly. He warned that spreading false information leading to tension would be dealt with severely by the district administration, which is vigilant 24/7.
Furthermore, DC appealed to all Peace Committee members to actively contribute to the cleanliness and maintenance of the puja pandals in Ranchi. The representatives of the Peace Committee expressed their unity in ensuring a Durga Puja marked by mutual cooperation and harmony.
