BI News, Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the free LPG cylinder refill distribution campaign to 1.75 crore eligible families of the state with an expenditure of Rs 2,312 crore by the Uttar Pradesh government under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana at Lok Bhavan.

On this occasion, CM Yogi said that today the implementation of one resolution of the Public Welfare Sankalp Patra has been started. In 2016, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana was started in Ballia to end the shortage of LPG in the country. Ujjwala scheme was not only a scheme to provide healthy fuel on time, but also a scheme to improve the health of mothers and sisters. If the lungs are weak then many problems arise. Those with weak lungs died during the Corona period.
He said that if Ujjwala scheme had not come in 2016, how many people would have died of Corona. Nine crore sixty lakh people were linked to this scheme.
