State level program of Amrit Kalash Yatra is organized in Danapur under the Meri Mati-Mera Desh program.
BI News, Patna : A state level program of Amrit Kalash Yatra was organized under the Meri Mati-Mera Desh program on Saturday at Jagjivan Stadium, Danapur. The program was inaugurated by Union Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Giriraj Singh by lighting the lamp.
On the spot, Pankaj Kuma, I.P.S., Inspector General, Sashastra Seema Bal, Frontier Patna, S.K. Malviya, Additional Director General, Press Information Bureau (Government of India), Seema Dhundiya, Inspector General Central Reserve Police Force Bihar Sector, Anshuman Das, State Director Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Patna, Jayant Kumar Chaudhary D.R. Aim. Railways, Anil Kumar, Chief Postmaster General, K. Ranjit, Deputy Inspector General, Sashastra Seema Bal, Frontier Patna, H. Jiten Singh, Deputy Inspector General, Frontier Patna, Abhay Prakash, Deputy Inspector General (Medical),Sashastra Seema Bal, Frontier Patna, Ashok Sajwan, Commandant Frontier Patna, Suvarna Sajwan, Commandant, 40th Corps Patna and other officers/forces were present.
Under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, under the Meri Mati, Mera Desh campaign, the nectar urns collected from all the blocks of Bihar are being sent to Delhi with much fanfare. Which is being carried by 1050 volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra Organization.
Addressing a function organized by Sashastra Seema Bal, Frontier Headquarters, Patna, to send the nectar urns collected from all the districts under the state of Bihar from Patna to Delhi under the Meri Mati-Mera Desh programme, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that Meri Mati Mera Desh initiative has unified the country and brought the country on one platform, removing linguistic, geographical and regional barriers.
Mr. Singh said that this campaign has generated enthusiasm and patriotic will among the youth. Under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, the first phase of Meri Maati, Mera Desh campaign was launched across the country on 9 August 2023, through which the public was encouraged to pay tribute to the brave men and women of India who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Dedicated and sacrificed his life.
This campaign symbolizes the spirit of patriotism, unity and social responsibility, which conveys the collective duty towards the motherland. This campaign has been run at Panchayat/Village, Block, Urban Local Body, State and National level, involving people across the country in various activities like construction of Shilaphalakam, construction of Amrit Vatikas, plantation of trees, salutation of brave men, and Panch Pran ceremony. Through this medium he was inspired to participate in the Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign.
The second phase of Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign was launched in the month of September, in which people of every district/village were encouraged to participate in Amrit Kalash Yatras. Till 30 September, soil was collected from the villages in Amrit Kalash, which was sent to the blocks till 13 October. From the block level, the urns have been brought to the capital of the respective state/union territory and to conclude the campaign today, Amrit Kalash from across the country will be taken to Delhi from 28th to 30th October.

145 Amrit Kalash were collected by Sashastra Seema Bal, 310 Amrit Kalash by Indian Postal Department, 64 Amrit Kalash by Financial Department, 23 Amrit Kalash by Central Industrial Security Force and 13 Amrit Kalash by Central Reserve Security Force. That will be sent together from here for the duty path to New Delhi. Amrit Vatika will be built in honor of the martyrs near the National War Memorial in New Delhi with soil brought from every state of the country.
This garden will be a living example of “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat”. The campaign aims to take pride in our rich heritage, maintain unity and solidarity, fulfill our duties as citizens and focus on honoring those who protect the nation.
