One-Day Training Program for District-Level Master Trainers Organized by Chief Electoral Office

BI News, Ranchi: Under the guidance of Chief Electoral Officer Mr. K. Ravi Kumar, the Election Commission organized a one-day training program for district-level master trainers at the Jharkhand Education Project Council in Dhurwa, Ranchi, in preparation for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. The training program focused on district election management, vulnerability mapping, organization of polling teams, and setting up polling stations.

A significant number of administrative and police officers from across the state participated in the training program. Chief Electoral Officer Mr. K. Ravi Kumar emphasized the utmost seriousness and responsibility required in election-related tasks. He urged all officers to regularly study the election rules and manuals and emphasized the importance of not taking any shortcuts during election work. He also provided detailed insights into the management of electoral risks and the deployment of police forces.

During the training program, Chief Electoral Officer Mr. K. Ravi Kumar addressed the concerns of the participating officers and shared his past election experiences. The event was attended by OSD Mrs. Geeta Choubey, Additional Secretary Mr. Devdas Datta, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Assistant Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Sunil Kumar, System Analyst Mr. S. N. Jameel, deputy election officers from all districts, along with SPs, DSPs, and other relevant police officials from various districts, in addition to all the employees of the Chief Electoral Office.
