Dubey said that in the memorandum to be given to His Excellency the Governor, sugarcane price should be increased to Rs 400/quintal and a law should be made on MSP by fixing the remunerative price of all agricultural products including potato, paddy, survey of paddy crop drying up due to lack of water in the fields. To provide tax relief, to immediately waive the penalty imposed by the electricity department on the electricity used by the farmers to save the paddy from drying up and to provide free electricity to the farmers for irrigation of crops and to free the farmers from stray animals.
