BI News, New Delhi : Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) launched the poster for its 69th National Conference, scheduled to be held in Delhi from December 7th to 10th, 2023 under the ‘Amrit Mohotsav Year’ of ABVP. The poster launch event occurred in Delhi, in the presence of ABVP National General Secretary Yagywalkya Shukla, National Secretary Hushyar Meena, National Media Convener Ashutosh Singh, Delhi State Secretary Harsh Attri and Delhi State Joint Secretary Meenakshi Khanal. During the Press Conference, ABVP’s National General Secretary Yagywalkya Shukla addressed key information about various aspects of the National Conference.

The 69th National Conference is a four-day event intended to bring together students from all corners of the country. ABVP, marking 75 years of its organizational journey, aims to familiarize the youth with the significant milestones in its organizational journey and the role of ABVP in leading student movements. This gathering of youth from across the nation will showcase the ‘unity in diversity’ that defines India.

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad seeks to acquaint students with modernity while connecting them with the history and roots of our nation, enabling them to understand India’s continuous journey as a ‘Rashtra.’ For this purpose, ABVP has developed various initiatives to be undertaken as part of this Conference.

The ABVP National Conference will be held at the DDA Ground, Burari, Delhi, where a tent city named ‘Indraprastha Nagar’ will be constructed. The main hall in this township is dedicated to late Shri Madan Das Devi Ji, the Former National Organising Secretary of ABVP and former Seh-SarKaryawah of RSS and thus, is named after him. Additionally, gates in the tent city have been named after Indian historical figures like Maharaja Surajmal and Maharaja Mihir Bhoj. For the same, the construction of the tent city at DDA Ground has already commenced.

As part of its 75th organizational journey, ABVP is organizing the ‘North East Study Tour’ under the Student
Experience in Inter-State Living (SEIL) Program. This unique initiative aims to provide students from different states with in-depth knowledge about the cultural, social, and family structures of the North-Eastern states of India. Under this initiative, 75 students from different states will travel to understand and learn about the natural diversity of Bharat and its social and family structures, starting from Guwahati, Assam, on November 5th. The poster for the ‘North-East Study Tour’ was launched by ABVP’s National General Secretary Yagywalkya Shukla in Delhi today.

ABVP’s National General Secretary, Yagywalkya Shukla stated “ABVP’s 75-year journey as a student movement has addressed the crucial issues of the youth. The National Conference in Delhi will focus on the transformative aspects of the current education sector and highlight topics related to, society, youth, and education. In this National Conference, students, teachers, and educationists from across the country will engage in meaningful dialogues including implementation of New Education Policy, Students’ Union Elections, and ABVP’s future plans with respect to these issues.”
