A five-day workshop was started today by Bharat Scouts and Guides under the “Her world Her Voice” project. The objective of this workshop is to mobilize 9000 young girls and women in the country as a master trainer through the campaign “Me and My rights, as Leader”. Training will be given to them and then the same trainer will spread awareness among young women on this subject all over the country.
This program will play a tremendous role for the empowerment of young women. Bharat Scouts’ guide girls, rangers and Governor and President’s Award recipients, young girls and women of 17 to 30 years are getting this training and 132 participants from 12 states are participating in this workshop at State Training Center Gandhi Nagar, Bhopal. The training is being given by the project in-charge Himanshi Tomar and her team, coming from National Headquarters Bharat Scout Delhi.
Today, on the occasion of the inaugural session of this dignified program, State Secretary of Bharat Scout Guide Rajesh Prasad Mishra, State Commissioner Rajiv Jain, Bhagwati Sharma and Chandrakanta Upadhya, BL Sharma were present and told everyone the importance and purpose of the program.
On this occasion, Camp Director Board Usha Yadav, Anita Sonawane, Rajesh Mewade, Rameshwar Sen are taking over the reins of the camp.
