BI News, Mizoram : Congress leader Rahul Gandhi delivered a scathing critique of the RSS and BJP, asserting that the divisive ideology propagated by the RSS poses a direct threat to the unity of India. Speaking at a public gathering in Lunglei, Mizoram, he expressed concerns, stating that individuals are increasingly hesitant to openly use their native languages and practice their religions, which he argued runs counter to the essence of India. Rahul Gandhi emphasized that the impact of the RSS ideology is evident throughout the country. He stressed that, in the view of his party, each state contributes to India’s rich tapestry with its distinct culture, traditions, and religious customs, serving as the very foundation of the Indian identity.

In his perspective, preserving these cultural diversities is paramount.Gandhi further underscored that their vision of India does not align with a scenario where individuals are fearful to practice their faith, speak their languages, or uphold their traditions. Such an India, he asserted, does not align with their vision for the nation. As an example, he referred to the ongoing developments in Manipur, which, in his opinion, stand as a compelling illustration of the potential consequences of the BJP’s ideology. Notably, he pointed out that the Prime Minister has not visited Manipur despite the significant events unfolding in the region.
