BI News, Lucknow: National President of Nishad Party and Cabinet Minister in Uttar Pradesh Government, Dr. Sanjay Nishad said in a press conference on Tuesday that the main issue of our party is reservation. We are continuously going among the public demanding reservation. Are having a conference. In the first phase, events have been organized in Gorakhpur division, Azamgarh division, Banaras division, Prayagraj division, Chitrakoot division and Devipatan division. There has been a lot of support from fishermen. The fishermen community has been told how political parties have cheated us. Now the central and state governments are in a decisive position regarding reservation. We feel that on the lines of Uttarakhand, caste groups will get reservation in Uttar Pradesh also.
He said that before the formation of the Constitution from 1921 to 1941, the Chief Secretary had written a letter that all the state governments, except Jammu and Kashmir, should give them the opportunity provided in the Constitution, except the Scheduled Castes, from 1931 to 1941. Let it be given. Get listed in the list of the Constitution. According to him, counting was also done in 1961. Well happened to the washerman and milkman but nothing happened to the fisherman. Now they too have full hope of getting the benefits of reservation.

He said that in the next phase, a public support campaign will be run for the fishermen of the entire country from November 31 on the occasion of World Fishermen’s Day. An attempt will be made to show that like the British and the Mughals, the previous governments have done injustice to us. Our files were made disappear. The conspirators neglected us, betrayed us. In 67 years, only Rs 3000 crore was given through the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana.

Out of the Rs 39,000 crore that we have now received for the fishermen, Rs 26,000 crore is being given as grant, group accident insurance and Kisan Credit Card. He said that in Chitrakoot, I saw that first our people were not able to avail the benefits of the schemes, then they had to invest 40 percent, which they were afraid of, now they are making Kisan Credit Cards and also getting 60 percent subsidy from our department. Are getting. From which they are getting benefit.
He said that this is happening for the first time in 70 years that in Chhattisgarh, Bharatiya Janata Party is fielding Dhivar, who is a caste of the Nishad fishing community, by giving them a ticket in the elections. BJP has done this in Chhattisgarh and now other parties are also doing the same. Now there too someone from Nishad community will enter the House after winning.
