CM Nitish Kumar inspects the Ganga ghats regarding the preparations for Chhath festival

BI News,Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected the Chhath Ghats in view of the great festival of folk faith, Chhath – 2023. He inspected various Ganga ghats by steamer from Gai Ghat to Kangan Ghat and then from Kangan Ghat to Nasriganj in Danapur. During the inspection, the Chief Minister gave necessary directions to the officials regarding the cleaning, safety and cleanliness of the ghats.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to ensure that along with the safety of Chhath fasting people, they get all kinds of facilities.Take special care that there should not be any problem in offering Arghya to the Chhath fasts. Keeping in view the water level and flow of river Ganga, make adequate security arrangements at Chhath Ghats. Barricading should also be done near the access roads of the ghats and the roads along the banks of river Ganga for the smooth movement of Chhath devotees. Make all the arrangements keeping in mind the facilities and safety of Chhath fasts. He said that a few days ago also we had inspected the Chhath Ghats and took information about all the arrangements.
