Developmental exhibition will be organised on the State Foundation Day

BI News, Champawat: The 23rd Foundation Day of State will be celebrated on 9th November 2023 in order to celebrate the formation of Uttarakhand State from the Uttar Pradesh province of India.In the same sequence , all the District Magistrates held the meeting of officials regarding the preparation of the State Foundation Day celebration. They were directed to invite the families of freedom fighters, Martyrs and State agitators to the function to be organised. It was decided to organise a grand development exhibition on the day.After a long struggle by the Pahari people Uttarakhand state was created by the Government of the Uttar Pradesh state in order to provide better Government and other opportunities to the residents of the area and provide the proper resources so that they can live in better conditions which were previously not provided by the Uttar Pradesh Government.

The state of Uttarakhand is separated into two geographical regions, Garhwal and Kumaon, where these two Pahari ethnic groups make up the majority of the population. This day honors the uniqueness of the state, which is made up of the two main Pahari people groups, the Garhwali and Kumaoni. Even though Hindi is the state’s official language, Garhwali and Kumaoni are also commonly used, therefore, in accordance with the Indian constitution, these pahari languages are also regarded as a dialect of Hindi. The people of Uttarakhand get the opportunity to proudly showcase their culture and traditions on this day.

Beginning on November 3, the “State Foundation Week” is a unique celebration of Uttarakhand Foundation Day that typically lasts for a full week. The event culminates on November 9 with the “Bharat Bharti” celebration, which comes after a number of activities, including “Mera Sainik.” The chief minister of Uttarakhand also discusses various concepts, including plans for the development of the state, and special arrangements are made.

Seema Bangwal, Senior Treasury Officer ( P.C.S) , explained about the GO by Directorate Of Finance Office that all the Financial office should be enlightened by the light like festivals of light and National Flag will be hoisted in the treasury.

Punit Punaitha, a local resident of Champawat district, Uttarakhand shared his remenaence and said that he still remember those day when entire Pahar was engaged in a separate state movement, administration has played foul but Paharis were desperate for their asking, finally we have got our cherished we are very happy that we have finally achieved for what we have struggled.
