High alert in UP after bomb blasts in Kerala

BI News,Lucknow: High alert has been declared in UP after the bomb blasts at the convention center in Ernakulam, Kerala. UP ATS and police of all the districts have been instructed to exercise extra vigilance and identify the suspects. Also, it has been asked to keep a close watch on every protest related to Israel-Palestine.

Special DG Law and Order Prashant Kumar said that an alert had been given earlier also in view of the Israel-Hamas war. Information is being collected about the recent incident in Kerala. As a precaution, the protests in support of Israel and Palestine are also being closely monitored. Complete information is being collected about the people present as well as those who joined virtually. UP Police is in touch with Kerala Police and other central intelligence agencies. People associated with fundamentalist organizations of Kerala are being identified in the state.

Let us tell you that all the suspicious people associated with organizations like PFI, CFI, Wahdat-e-Islami etc. in the state are on the target of the investigating agencies. Recently, NIA had raided the locations of people associated with these organizations in seven districts including Lucknow, Bhadohi, Sant Kabirnagar, Ballia. Confidential information in this regard has also been shared with UP ATS.
