NDMC focuses on lighting at World Heritage Committee

Delegates from all across the world will gather at the World Heritage Committee conference to talk about and work together to preserve cultural, natural, and mixed heritage assets.

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has started a massive cleaning and maintenance campaign in advance of the 46th World Heritage Committee conference, which will take place in India from July 21 to July 31. According to NDMC secretary Kuljeet Singh Chahal, “Lutyens Delhi will be beautified like it was done during the G20 Summit,” on Monday. We’ll pay close attention to the décor arrangements, which will include vibrant flags, unique lighting setups, and floral boards.

Delegates from all across the world will gather at the World Heritage Committee conference to talk about and work together to preserve cultural, natural, and mixed heritage assets. For the first time, India is hosting the annual UNESCO convention, which addresses the steps that must be taken to protect World Heritage sites that are at risk from unchecked urban growth, unsustainable tourism, neglect, natural disasters, pollution, political unrest, and conflict.

Ten transportable pumps on carts have been set up as part of the NDMC’s preparations to stop water from leaking when the delegates arrive. The areas that are targeted are waterlogged areas like Delhi Haat and Africa Avenue. “To handle any crises that may develop during the event, two high-capacity pumps, each with a 6,000-liter capacity and a minimum head of 25 meters, have been prepared on a rental basis,” Chahal stated.

About 50,000 potted decorative plants and flowers are being provided by the NDMC Horticulture Department; they will be refreshed every 11 days to guarantee freshness for the delegate’s arrival. The regions surrounding the hotels where delegates will be staying are receiving extra attention. The World Heritage Committee logo will be displayed on floral boards that the NDMC will make and install all around its territory.

In addition, NDMC is organizing a special cleaning campaign in important commercial districts including Connaught Place, Janpath, and Khan Market. The trade groups, particularly those around Connaught Place, have been instructed to spruce up their marketplaces. “A correspondence has been received from the NDMC. To give the market a festive appearance, we will need to determine whether we have that type of money. We have to apply for a restoration six months in advance since the market is designated as a historic site. A lot of stores lack proper maintenance. The president of the Connaught Place Traders Association, Atul Bhargava, stated, “We will be meeting with the chief architect to discuss this.”

On July 24, a banquet is scheduled for the young professionals working in the heritage field. Along Sardar Patel Marg, hanging lights are also being installed as part of special lighting arrangements to illuminate the trees. There will be brightly colored flags hung along the path. To improve their visual attractiveness, the Architecture Department is renovating fifty-two roundabouts in the NDMC region.

To facilitate the delegates’ easy movement, it is being made sure that the roads are clear of potholes and that the pedestrian routes are easily navigable. At the Safdarjung Flyover and the African Avenue Railway underpass, the Council is putting up new wall art. Roundabouts close to Mandi House, Hotel Taj Mansingh, and Hotel Le Meridien will soon have sculptures installed on them.

The chief minister of Uttarakhand is in hot water as clerics object to the building of the “Kedarnath temple” in Delhi.

Even though the Uttarakhand CM  has made an effort to put the incident behind him, many BJP members are unhappy with how the situation is being handled in the wake of consecutive election defeats in Badrinath and Faizabad.

Despite the chief minister’s efforts to disassociate himself from the scandal, many BJP members are unhappy with the way the situation has been handled in the wake of the party’s consecutive election defeats in Badrinath and Faizabad.

New Delhi: Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami finds himself in a controversial scenario ahead of the assembly bypolls in Kedarnath due to objections to the construction of a temple, the foundation of which he lay last week in Delhi.

The building of the Kedarnath temple near Burari, Delhi, is considered by the priests of Char Dham to be in violation of sacred conventions and traditions. Avimukteshwaranad Saraswati, the Shankaracharya of Joshimath, had also expressed disapproval of the project.

Following the passing of current MLA Shaila Rani, Kedarnath is scheduled for assembly bypolls. However, many in the BJP are worried about the timing of this and think that it might be expensive for the party, which is still reeling from the loss of Badrinath in the assembly bypoll.

The hill state is renowned for its Chardham shrines, which are visited annually by hundreds of pious Hindus and outsiders alike at Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri.

Uttarakhand CM

The Congress has attacked the BJP and the government for the way the Uttarakhand government has handled the situation. It has also been bringing up the protests conducted by public servants, clergy, and even saints to put pressure on the BJP over this trend.

“Kedarnath Dham is a place of unique spiritual significance; no other place can be called a Dham.” Nonetheless, Uttarakhand Congress chief spokeswoman Garima Mehra Dasauni said that Dhami ji’s comments at the foundation stone laying ceremony, in which he referred to the temple as Kedarnath, hurt the feelings of every Sanatani.

“One of the twelve Jyotirlingas is Kedarnath.” The BJP has no authority to manipulate people’s religious feelings. The state’s pilgrimage has been damaged by the CM. At this point, he has instructed them to alter the temple’s name and outside design.

Many in the BJP are dissatisfied with how the matter has been handled, despite the chief minister’s attempts to disassociate himself from the problem. “We will lose Kedarnath as well if these issues persist. We lost Ayodhya first, then Badrinath. The CM office seems preoccupied with defending their position, rather than acknowledging that the state unit made a mistake.

Numerous parties involved, such as Avimukteshwaranad, have stated that while they are not against the construction of a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, they will be against the construction of a temple dedicated to Kedarnath.

Now that Dhami is also in the dark, he has justified his actions by pointing out that the temple being built in Delhi is a Shiva temple. “Jyotirling ka sthaan doesn’t work well. It’s not as easy as it seems to be. Anek sthaano par bane hai mandir. There is just one place where Jyotirling is located, which is in Uttarakhand. A dhaam cannot exist anywhere else. Temples may be found all around the world.Uttarakhand is home to Jyotirling),” Dhami said reporters on Monday.

The head of the Kedarnath Dham Trust, Burari, Surendra Rautela, clarified that the Uttarakhand government was not involved in the building of the Delhi shrine.

“The Shri Kedarnath Dham Delhi trust, of which I am the president, is our trust; the Kedarnath Dham mandir is only a mandir, not a dham. There is no connection between it and the Uttarakhand government. At our request, Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the laying of the foundation stone. He accepted our personal offer to come, and he informed reporters earlier this week that it was unrelated to the administration.

The officials stated during the conference that a location similar to Lord Shiva’s favorite home, Shri Kedarnath, which is nestled in the Himalayas, cannot be constructed anyplace else. A statement from the Rudraprayag District Information Office stated, “It was decided to vehemently oppose the construction of the Dham anywhere else.”

When meeting with the chief minister’s principal secretary, a delegation from Uttarakhand Char Dham Teerth Purohit Maha Panchayat asked that the building of the temple, which would serve as a symbol, be prohibited. It also asked for action against other temples around the nation that were constructed in the name of Char Dham.

Ganesh Godiyal, a Congress politician and former president of the BKTC, had harsh criticism of both the BJP and the Dhami government.

“Everyone in the nation is aware of the location of the Lord Kedarnath shrine. A temple is being built in Delhi, and in such a scenario, some people establish a trust in the name of the Kedarnath temple in order to make money. In a sense, the CM is defending them. ..”How is it possible that the authorities permitted a trust to be established in Kedarnath’s name?” he questioned.

US tells Putin to stop the war in Ukraine and begs India to “use” its contacts with Russia.

Miller made these comments in answer to a question from the media concerning PM Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Russia, which the president of Ukraine described as a catastrophic setback to efforts towards peace.

Washington: The US has asked India to “utilize” its long-standing ties with Russia and convince President Vladimir Putin to stop his “illegal war” in Ukraine amid the ongoing confrontation between Moscow and Kyiv.

During a news briefing on Monday, US State Department spokeswoman Matthew Miller emphasized the close relations between Moscow and Delhi while simultaneously pleading with India to remind Putin to uphold the UN Charter.

India and Russia have a long-standing friendship, then. That’s probably well known. And on behalf of the United States, we have urged India to use their close ties to Russia, as well as their advantageous position, to press President Putin to halt his unlawful war and find a fair and long-lasting resolution to the conflict. We have also urged Putin to respect the UN Charter and Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, Miller said.

Putin

“We’ll continue to impress that upon the Government of India, who is an important partner of ours when it comes to their relationship with Russia,” the speaker continued.

Miller made these comments in answer to a question from the media on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent trip to Russia, which the president of Ukraine described as a catastrophic setback to efforts towards peace.

During a recent official visit to Moscow, Prime Minister Modi met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During their meeting, they discussed their shared objectives of removing non-tariff trade obstacles and reaching a mutual trade volume of USD 100 billion by 2030.

According to the Leaders’ Joint Statement issued after the meeting, the two leaders also agreed to keep talking about liberalizing bilateral trade, including the potential creation of the EAEU-India Free Trade Area.

Additionally, they agreed to work toward creating a system of bilateral payments in national currencies as well as introducing digital financial instruments consistently for settlements between them.

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, formally awarded Prime Minister Modi the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called, the country’s highest civilian honor.

Notably, PM Modi was given the medal in 2019, but he actually picked it up in person while he was in the country.

Putin

While there, Prime Minister Modi spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin and referred to peace as “most important” for coming generations. In addition to stating that peace negotiations fail in the presence of bombs, weapons, and bullets, he argued that there is no solution on the battlefield.

As a friend, I have always maintained that maintaining peace is crucial for the promising future of our future generations. However, I am also aware that conflict zones cannot hold solutions. Peace negotiations and solutions fail in the midst of bombs, weapons, and bullets. PM Modi has stated, “We will have to pursue the path to peace only through talks.”

It was PM Modi’s first trip to Russia since the outbreak of hostilities in 2022 between Moscow and Kyiv. India has consistently supported “peace and diplomacy” as a means of settling disputes with Russia, even as it has been buying Russian oil.

Police will investigate the accuracy of the trainee IAS’s medical records. Khedkar Puja

According to an official on Tuesday, Puja Khedkar, a probationary IAS officer who is suspected of lying about having physical infirmities, has filed medical certifications. Pune police will look into the validity of these documents.
Khedkar, an officer from the 2023 batch who is presently stationed in the Washim district, has filed several medical certifications with the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) clause, one of which shows a visual impairment.

trainee IAS's

The 34-year-old Maharashtra cadre officer is accused of squandering her position of authority and privilege when posted in Pune, as well as of adopting dishonest methods to pass the civil services test. She is also accused of lying about having a physical disability and of being an OBC.

In order to confirm the authenticity of the certificates that Khedkar supplied, the Office of the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities corresponded with the district collectorate and the Pune police.
“We have received a letter from the Office of the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities,” a senior police officer stated. They have requested that we verify the legitimacy of the certifications Puja Khedkar supplied. We will confirm the information on these certificates, including where they came from, whose physician or hospitals issued them, and a scan of the document.”
Additionally, it has come to light that the contentious young IAS official applied for admission to a private medical institution in 2007 and provided a fitness certificate.

A one-member committee was formed by the Centre last week “to verify the candidature” of Khedkar, with a report due in two weeks.
The government said that an extra secretary-rank officer would carry out the investigation to confirm the IAS official’s claims of candidacy and other information.
On Monday, Khedkar avoided answering questions about the continuing investigation into her and said that the truth will ultimately come to light.
In connection with a different criminal investigation, the Pune police have also been looking for her parents.
After a video of Puja Khedkar’s mother Manorama Khedkar, a village sarpanch, reportedly threatening some people with a pistol over a property dispute surfaced, a FIR was filed against the couple and five other people.

Meet Usha Chilukuri, JD Indian associate who has the potential to become US Vice President.

Donald Trump was once likened by Vance to Adolf Hitler. He is now Trump’s vice presidential nominee in 2024. What is Usha, his wife of Indian descent, into politics?

Senator JD Vance of Ohio will become the next vice president of the United States if the current polls are accurate. It would entail having a Vice President from the US with strong ties to India for two consecutive administrations.

Usha Chilukuri, a corporate litigator in San Francisco whose parents are Indian, is Vance’s spouse. The New York Times reported that “the pair were…blessed by a Hindu pundit in a separate ceremony” at their 2014 Kentucky wedding.

Of course, Kamala Harris, the daughter of Jamaican-born Stanford economist Donald Harris and Chennai-born cancer researcher Shyamala Gopalan, is the current vice president of the United States.

First things first: who is JD Vance, the man Donald J. Trump selected as his running mate late on Monday night, July 15, India time, at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee?

Venture capitalist, Yale graduate, and Marine

In Middletown, Ohio, Vance was raised in a modest upbringing. He joined the US Marines after graduating from high school and was a combat journalist and public relations officer during the Iraq War.

He completed his undergraduate studies in political science and philosophy at Ohio State University after serving in the armed forces. After that, he continued his legal studies at Yale Law School, where he served as the Yale Law Journal’s editor.

He briefly practiced law after earning his Yale degree in 2013 before relocating to San Francisco to work as a venture investor in the tech sector. Interestingly, he was employed at Mithril Capital, co-founded by PayPal’s Peter Thiel.

Best-selling author, vociferous Trump critic

With the release of his best-selling book Hillbilly Elegy in 2016, Vance became well-known. Many interpreted Vance’s autobiographical Hillbilly Elegy, published in the same year that Trump stormed to power for the first time, as a window into rural, often-forgotten America, which fueled Trump’s ascent.

Vance’s book was described as “a compassionate, discerning sociological analysis of the white underclass that has helped drive the politics of rebellion, particularly the ascent of Donald J. Trump” in a review that appeared in The New York Times. In 2020, a full-length movie based on the novel was published.

 Usha Chilukuri

Vance had strong anti-Trump sentiments at the moment. In October 2016, he said to talk show host Charlie Rose, “I’m a Never Trump guy.” In July 2016, Vance penned an opinion piece for The Atlantic titled, “Trump is cultural heroine… Trump’s pledges are the needle in the collective American vein. He temporarily lifts some people’s spirits. However, he cannot cure their problems, and they will eventually realize this.

“I go back and forth between thinking that Trump is America’s Hitler or that he is a cynical asshole like [Richard] Nixon who wouldn’t be that bad (and might even prove useful),” Vance said in a 2016 private Facebook conversation to a friend.

From “Never Trump” to ardent supporter

On Trump, though, Vance has quite different views. According to reports, he supported Trump in 2020 and used his support to win his first Senate election in 2022.

After being chosen as Trump’s running mate, Vance “explained his ideological shifts as a result of a double intellectual awakening: It turned out that Donald Trump wasn’t as bad as Vance had thought, and that American liberals were much worse,” the New York Times said.

“I allowed myself to focus so much on the stylistic element of Trump that I completely ignored the way in which he was offering something very different on foreign policy, on trade, and on immigration,” Vance said in a June interview with The New York Times.

As one of the most tenacious supporters of Trump in the modern era, Vance shares many of the former president’s viewpoints. Furthermore, according to Politico, he has become “the standard-bearer of the ‘New Right,’ a loose movement of young conservatives trying to push the Republican Party in a more populist, nationalist, and culturally conservative direction.”

Married to a brilliant lawyer he met at Yale

While attending Yale, Vance got to know Usha Chilukuri Vance. Together, the couple is the parent of three kids. Usha is Hindu, and Vance is Catholic. Living in Cincinnati, Ohio, is the family.

Usha Chilukuri was known among her peers from her early and adolescent years as a “leader” and a “bookworm” while growing up in a San Diego neighborhood. In a NYT piece, she was characterized as “pragmatist, ambitious, and smart.” She traveled to Cambridge on a Gates Fellowship after four years at Yale, where The New York Times reported that she interacted with “mostly liberal and left-wing circles.”

Usha was a registered Democrat in 2014, according to American media sources, but she hasn’t been outspoken about her political beliefs lately. From 2015 onwards, Usha was employed by Munger, Tolles, and Olson, a legal company that prides itself on having a “radically progressive” corporate culture and “cool” and “woke” employment procedures. According to a story in the Bay Area newspaper SFGate, Usha quit her job “just minutes” after Trump selected her husband to be his running mate in the November election.

According to Usha’s bio, which SFGate cited, she specialized on “complex litigation and appeals in a wide variety of sectors, including higher education, local government, entertainment, and technology, including semiconductors,” during her time at the legal firm.

Additionally, while Justice Brett Kavanaugh was a judge at the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit, she worked as a clerk for Chief Justice John Roberts of the US Supreme Court. According to SFGate, which quoted Usha’s bio, she also worked as a clerk for Amul Thapar, who is currently a judge on the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, during his tenure at the US District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.

She edited the Yale Law Journal and the Yale Journal of Law & Technology while she was an editor at Yale.

Import of Vance’s selection by Trump

Trump stated that Vance “will be strongly focused on the people he fought so brilliantly for, the American Workers and Farmers in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota, and far beyond” in a Truth Social post announcing the appointment. It’s conceivable that a few of these Midwestern states will be crucial to the outcome of the election in November.

Experts predict that Vance’s selection will energize Trump’s supporters since the senator is well-liked in the conservative media. Additionally, it is probably going to go well in Silicon Valley, where Trump is trying to get funding for his campaign. One of Vance’s largest backers is the wealthy former CEO of PayPal, Peter Thiel.

But as Trump tries to reach out to more groups, the choice also means that two white males will now head the Republican ticket. According to Reuters, Vance, a devout conservative from a Republican state, “is unlikely to bring many new voters into Trump’s corner and may even alienate some moderates.”

Supporters of Trump wanted him to choose a woman of color in order to broaden the coalition’s base of influence. It would be fascinating to see if this is an influence if President Joe Biden, who is facing intense pressure to stand down from major Democratic donors and several Democratic legislators, does so in favor of Harris.

Adnaan stated, “I will not pretend to be someone I am not,” in reference to his entrance. I have a really powerful mind. Today a youngster from Dharavi has come to Jogeshwari. I drive the automobiles I could never have imagined. I’ve weathered a lot of arguments and altercations, so this show should be simple.

Adnaan Shaikh

When asked which Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestants he would not get along with, Adnaan immediately mentions Lovekesh Kataria, Kritika Malik, and Armaan Malik. “It was wrong for Armaan to slap Vishal,” he declared. He ought to have been sent out. My brother is Vishal. He is a long-time buddy. I object to Armaan’s treatment of him. Thus, I shall not get along with Love Kataria, Armaan Malik, or his wife.

Adnaan Shaikh thinks that he would get along with everyone, but that if someone bothers him, the influencer will make them regret it the next day. Adnan shared that winning Bigg Boss is very important to him and that he aims to give the money he earns from the program to his non-governmental organisation. “I’ll give my NGO half of the money from Bigg Boss OTT 3.” It will initiate certain actions on the front of women’s welfare, since it works in that area.

It has been observed in the past several seasons that Bigg Boss has negatively impacted the image of a number of candidates. Munawar Faruqui from the previous season serves as a prime illustration. When we questioned Adnaan whether he was concerned about any harm his reputation would sustain from being on the program, he responded, “It has been happening to me since ages, so it won’t affect me at all,” pointing to his contentious social media posts. I don’t worry about it since I am aware of who I am.

Tonight, Adnaan Shaikh will be joining Bigg Boss OTT 3.

Ambani Wedding: Inside the lavish, star-studded wedding of Asia’s richest man’s son

Following seven months of lavish pre-wedding festivities, the youngest son of the wealthiest man in Asia tied the knot with his longtime lover. Politicians including Boris Johnson and Tony Blair were there, as well as celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, John Cena, Nick Jonas, and Kim and Khloé Kardashian.

On July 12, in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra in western India, Anant Ambani, the son of Mukesh Ambani, wed Radhika Merchant in a customary Hindu wedding. The pair was blessed by guests and elders during a “shubh ashirwad” ritual on Saturday, which was followed by a “mangal utsav,” or banquet.

The guest list for the festivities was diverse, featuring Bollywood’s elite such as Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Rajinikanth, and Amitabh Bachchan with their families, alongside stars like Alia Bhatt and Ananya Pandey. Global celebrities including Kim and Khloé Kardashian, Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach, designer Prabal Gurung, and former world leaders Tony Blair and Boris Johnson were also in attendance.

There were also a number of Indian leaders and chief ministers there, including Devendra Fadnavis, Mamata Banerjee, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, Aaditya Thackeray, Uddhav Thackeray, Akhilesh Yadav, and former president Ram Nath Kovind.

Anant Ambani, 29, is the youngest child of Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, a Fortune 500 business, whose estimated net worth, based on Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index, is $113 billion (£89.53 billion).

Reliance Industries is involved in organized retail, chemicals, digital streaming services, telecommunications, and petroleum refining and marketing.

29-year-old Radhika Merchant is a board member of her father’s business, Encore Healthcare, and the daughter of pharmaceutical magnate Viren Merchant.

The bride wore a hand-embroidered bridal lehenga by Indian brand Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, while the groom wore a crimson and gold sherwani created by renowned fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Her skirt had a detachable train that measured seven feet, and her lehenga had a 16-foot-long veil.

Nita Ambani, the mother of the groom, donned an ensemble that was allegedly created over 40 days by designers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and craftspeople Vijay Kumar and Monika Maurya.

The public has been fascinated by and highly critical of the Ambanis’ wedding, even if the precise cost of the festivities is still unknown. Indian media and wedding planners put the total cost of the ceremonies at about $300 million.

From July 12 to July 15, Mumbai police enforced traffic restrictions in the vicinity of the wedding site situated in the central business sector of the city.

Traffic issues have been experienced by locals, forcing bankers to change their plans and choose to work from home.

It has an impact on our income. The wedding doesn’t really interest me,” cab driver Vikram told the Associated Press.

In a nation where ninety percent of households earn less than ₹10000 (about £94), the $320 million (₹2673 crores) Ambani wedding is outrageous. Legally, it may be their money, but such conspicuous spending is a transgression against the poor and the planet, according to Indian economist and politician Thomas Isaac, who wrote on X.

The pre-wedding festivities, which started in March, might add significantly to the already exorbitant cost of the wedding—the Guardian pegs the total at as much as $600 million. To put things in perspective, this is a meager 0.5% of the Ambanis’ total wealth.

The pair began their festivities in March with a three-day pre-wedding party in Jamnagar, the hometown of Mukesh Ambani, which is situated in the Gujarat state in western India. Prominent people like Bill Gates, Ivanka Trump, the king and queen of Bhutan, and a number of international dignitaries were on the guest list.

Kill Review: A Brutal Ballet of Bollywood Action

0

The next action spectacular from filmmaker Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, “Kill,” doesn’t mince words when it comes to its title. It presents an unrelenting display of violence, deftly fusing the savagery of foreign action films with the emotional weight of Bollywood. Get ready for an exciting adventure that defies genres.

KILL

A Story Steeped in Tragedy

The plot is rather straightforward. On what appears to be a routine train ride, we meet two elite commandos, Amrit (Lakshya) and Viresh (Abhishek Chauhan). But boiling under the surface is anger. A past tragedy haunts Amrit, and Viresh has a deeply devoted buddy. The straightforward ride devolves into a full-fledged conflict when Ashish Vidyarthi, a vicious criminal, and his homicidal thugs take control of the train.

The way “Kill” explores sorrow and retaliation raises it above a mindless action movie. Amrit’s tough exterior belies a profound sadness that motivates him to take revenge with every action. Lakshya makes a strong start, emulating the subdued intensity of a guy on the verge of tears. Amidst the violence, Amrit and Viresh’s friendship offers a much-needed emotional anchor. With his outstanding fighting prowess and sincere compassion for his comrade, Chauhan exudes charm in the part.

KILL

Action Unmatched: A Global Gumbo

Bhat is obviously influenced by a number of action movie tropes. The painstakingly crafted battle scenes are reminiscent of the balletic violence seen in Hong Kong films. Imagine gut-wrenching kicks and razor-sharp knife fights captured on camera with such emotional intensity that it will make you cringe in your seat. However, the action also has a very Bollywood feel to it. The crowd cheers amid the chaos as the dance is interspersed with extraordinary acts of bravery and acrobatic feats.

The movie also honors the grim realism of contemporary Korean vengeance thrillers. With blood spurting and bone-crushing strikes that leave a lasting imprint, the violence is unrelentingly horrific. Not for the faint of heart, but “Kill” is an excellent visceral action movie for those who enjoy that kind of thing.

A Bollywood Beauty with Gritty Undertones

There are several issues with the movie. During the few calmer moments of the movie, the romance subplot between Amrit and Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) appears undercooked and is limited to sly looks and corny banter. Maniktala has a great on-screen presence, but the forced romance doesn’t feel like it belongs in the story; rather, it feels like a Bollywood tradition.

KILL

However, the stunning visuals more than compensate for any narrative shortcomings. The camerawork is dynamic, keeping pace with the frenetic action and capturing the claustrophobic atmosphere of the train environment. The use of slow motion during key fight scenes adds a touch of artistic flourish, transforming the brutality into a morbid ballet of violence.

The Verdict: A Must-Watch for Action Aficionados

“Kill” is a genre-bending experience that will make you gasp and maybe feel a bit sick to your stomach. Though it’s not a movie for everyone, “Kill” is a must-see for anyone looking for an exhilarating thrill journey full of inventive action and unadulterated passion. Bhat’s picture defies convention in Indian action filmmaking, exhibiting a level of narrative intricacy and technical skill never seen in previous works. All you need to do is be ready for the ultimate sensory overload.

Mirzapur Season 3: Lessons in money from all the firearms in the wild Purvanchal

0

From the first episode’s premiere on November 18, 2018, Mirzapur’s weapons, produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, have taken over Prime Video. On July 5, 2024, Season 3 of the highly anticipated drama about electricity in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh was launched.

Guddu Bhaiyya and Golu Didi are engaged in a royal struggle for the throne of Mirzapur, while Kaleen Bhaiyya is presumed dead and hiding underground, recuperating from bullet wounds. Madhuri Yadav and Sharad Yadav wish they were both dead. If only there weren’t. And Bharat Tyagi as well.

Ramakant Pandit, however, is struggling with his own morals. You wish that the lovely Beena Tripathi and the poetry-loving maid Radhika had more screen time as you helplessly witness the blood, weapons, and power story on Amazon Prime. Anand ji, the CM Madhuri’s calm and perceptive PA, would undoubtedly have a few anecdotes to share.

Mirzapur Season 3

What is the connection between you and this deadly story of power grab, astute investor? Is it just a myth that real-life violence on TV suppresses our primal urges? Does watching the tragedy of a brother killing his brother on TV make you more adept at handling such situations in real life? Although I find watching excessive violence boring, this season of Mirzapur teaches us two very essential lessons about money.

Mirzapur Season 3 Trust deficit will hurt you

Guddu is aware that Golu is the brains and he is the strength of the formidable team that defeated Munna and Kaleem Bhaiyya. If not for Ramakant Pandit’s unexpected kill shot, which enabled Guddu to flee and clear SSP Maurya’s path.

Nevertheless, Guddu frequently defies Golu’s advise and finds himself in difficulty. Guddu is unable to resist the Pehelwan (bodybuilding) competition and is determined to make a deal with Lala’s daughter.

When Guddu is not there, Golu chooses to handle things on her own since she believes the informants. She wants to show that she is deserving and not the person occupying the seat of authority, having learned from Guddu’s decision to leave with Lala’s daughter.

Conversely, Ramakant Pandit takes unnecessary precautions. Before commencing kitchen duty, he is told by other prisoners in the jail that he should not trust the serial murderer Gerua. However, he is a kind guy, and he escapes what appears to be a murderous assault on Gerua’s life. Ramakant Pandit follows his gut to find out why Gerua turned into a murderer.

Distractions are aplenty. Focus!

Episodes of Mirzapur are full of incidental stuff, including prison lingo, biryanis, Barfi, Chief Guest, alluring ladies, homilies about bears and mice, and gorgeous jungles. One bit of speech, nevertheless, makes the unnecessary killing and brutality worth seeing. It enters rather subtly, as in the passionate plea of a faithful woman to her husband.

The amazing Rajesh Tailang, also known as Ramakant Pandit, has admitted to shooting SSP Maurya, who was about to kill his son Guddu. Despite their ideological disagreements, he managed to save his kid from death. He confesses while riding his scooter to the police station. Naturally, that gets him locked up. Whoever convinces him to stand trial on his own behalf.

She makes a tearful appeal, asking him why he is wallowing in self-pity when he has spent his whole life fighting up for what is right. “The court has the right to judge your action,” she responds. “But isn’t it a betrayal to both me and your daughter Dimpy that you chose not to defend your action in court?” How are you going to decide that on your own? She assists him in regaining concentration after falling into a self-recrimination spiral.

You are investing for your family’s future as well as your own, as a wise investor. Perhaps they are not as financially literate as you are, but if you are responsible for their well-being, shouldn’t you explain to them the rationale behind the investments and the process involved?

Most of us are peaceniks, preferring to live a life of non-confrontation and frequently letting others take center stage. Will you, however, speak up and be heard when you have to drive? I say take back that throne of your own Mirzapur! Take a stance with pride.

Karnataka Dy CM DK Shivakumar’s plea to quash the CBI’s disproportionate asset case was dismissed by the Supreme Court.

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar’s petition to overturn a High Court order was denied by the Supreme Court today, July 15. Shivakumar was attempting to have the Central Bureau of Investigation’s disproportionate assets (DA) case against him under the Prevention of Corruption Act (PCA) quashed.

The case was heard by a bench consisting of Justices Bela M. Trivedi and Satish Chandra Sharma.

In his representation of Shivakumar, Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi argued that the probe had started without the required authorization under Section 17A of the Prevention of Corruption Act. He further argued that a bigger bench should consider whether Section 17A applies to offenses purportedly committed prior to the 2018 amendment that incorporated Section 17A [Ref. Chandrababu Naidu case]. Justice Trivedi, however, retorted that a divided ruling did not mean that the proceedings could be annulled. Rohatgi said that all he was asking for was the petition to be noticed.

The bench, however, conveyed dissent. The claim that Shivakumar was the source of Rs. 41 lakhs was acknowledged by Justice Trivedi. It was an accusation in the procedures under the Income Tax Act, Rohatgi stated. He said that the identical matter could not be the subject of a CBI FIR. Judge Trivedi disagreed, arguing that the case pertained to a different offense under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The judge further stated that the Income Tax authorities cannot bring charges under the PC Act.

Notably, the court also stated that it disagreed with the High Court’s decision to stay the CBI’s sanction. “How can the High Court revoke the order? “This is unprecedented,” Justice Trivedi said. In this regard, Shivakumar’s attorneys advised that the Karnataka government had revoked the approval granted to the CBI.

In summary, a raid by the Income Tax agency occurred in August 2017 at many Shivakumar locations in New Delhi and other locations. It made an overall collection of Rs. 8,59,69,100, of which it claimed to have recovered Rs. 41 lakhs from Shivakumar’s property.
