He expressed optimism about the positive outcomes of using technology in media, acknowledging the potential benefits in investigative journalism. Senior journalist Gokul Basant underscored the importance of preserving the dignity of the press. He praised the Press Council of India for guiding the press in adapting to the changing landscape and endorsed the Council’s focus on “Media in the Era of Artificial Intelligence” for Press Day 2023. Basant acknowledged the dual nature of artificial intelligence, emphasizing the need for responsible and ethical use.

Journalist Satis Mishra Suman acknowledged the challenges posed by the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence in the media field. BI News, Nainital: The Himalayan Monal, also known as the Impeyan monal, Impeyan pheasant, is a bird in the pheasant family, Phasianidae. The state bird of Uttarakhand, India, This State bird of Uttarakhand has been selected as the mascot for the 38th National games to be held in Uttarakhand in 2018. And it is known as The Monal.
The Himalayan Monal is one of the most well recognized pheasant species of the western Himalaya because of the male’s metallic, rainbow-colored plumage and iridescent blue head crest. The bird has been incorporated into the traditional folklore of many Himalayan cultures .

The Himalayan monal’s native range extends from Afghanistan and Pakistan through the Himalayas in India, Nepal, southern Tibet and Bhutan.In Pakistan, it is most common in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and has also been recorded in Kaghan, Palas Valley and Azad Kashmir. In India, it has been recorded throughout the Indian Himalayan Region from Jammu and Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh. It lives in upper temperate oak-conifer forests interspersed with open grassy slopes, cliffs and alpine meadows between 2,400 and 4,500 m (7,900 and 14,800 ft), where it is most common between 2,700 and 3,700 m (8,900 and 12,100 ft). It descends to 2,000 m (6,600 ft) in the winter. It tolerates snow and digs through it to obtain plant roots and invertebrate prey. InUttarakhand, the birds are currently found in grassy slopes above the treeline, primarily in Chopta, Munsyari, Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, Pindari and Dodital area of Uttarkashi. “The Himalayan Monal is kept under schedule one of Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.

BI News,Etawah : In a harrowing incident, a fire engulfed three coaches of the New Delhi-Darbhanga Superfast Express near Sarai Bhupat station in Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district. Officials suspect a short circuit as the cause of the blaze.

The catastrophe unfolded as the train traversed the Sarai Bhupat station when the vigilant station master detected smoke billowing from one of the sleeper coaches. Acting swiftly, the station master promptly alerted the train driver and guard, leading to an emergency stop.

Passengers were urgently evacuated from the affected sleeper coach, with some sustaining minor injuries during the chaotic evacuation. Eyewitnesses reported several passengers resorting to jumping off the train as flames rapidly consumed the coaches. Sources indicate that the train was carrying more passengers than its designated capacity.

Local authorities and emergency services rushed to the scene to contain the inferno. Fortunately, the fire has now been brought under control, minimizing further damage. The three charred coaches have been detached from the train for investigation and to prevent any potential spread of the fire.

Preliminary investigations point to a short circuit as the likely trigger for the fire, according to the police. The incident raises concerns about the safety measures and capacity management on the New Delhi-Darbhanga Superfast Express, prompting a thorough review by railway authorities.

Addressing a press conference, Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Modi-Shah duo had engaged in unethical practices to undermine democratic processes, stating, “What we are witnessing today is not just a political disagreement; it is the theft of a government, and it is happening across the country. The Prime Minister and Home Minister are directly responsible for this assault on democracy.”

Gandhi claimed that the BJP had resorted to poaching Congress MLAs in an attempt to destabilize state governments where the Congress party had a significant presence. He accused the ruling party of using money and muscle power to lure elected representatives from the Congress, thereby compromising the integrity of the democratic mandate.

“The actions of the BJP leadership indicate a blatant disrespect for the democratic values enshrined in our constitution. Buying and selling elected representatives to engineer defections is a dangerous precedent that undermines the very essence of our democratic system,” Gandhi asserted.
