BI News, Lucknow: Congress and SP are contesting against each other in Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. Amidst the sharp statements from both the sides, various speculations are being made on the prospects of INDIA alliance in the Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav, who reached Gorakhpur on Saturday, spoke about the INDIA alliance and the next Lok Sabha elections. He said that SP’s preparation is on 80 seats, although some seats can go to the alliance. Akhilesh was speaking at the Jannayak Karpoori Thakur Social Justice Maharally organized at Bhiti Rawat of Sahjanwan, Gorakhpur. On one hand, he was seen blaming Congress for not being able to form an alliance in Madhya Pradesh, while on the other hand, he also emphasized on the possibilities of alliance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. However, by talking about preparation for 80 seats, it also set a kind of limit for future allies. The SP chief accused Congress of cheating in Madhya Pradesh but then turned his attacks towards BJP. He said that Backwards, Dalits and Minorities (PDA) are with India and this has created panic in the NDA.

In CM Yogi’s home district, Akhilesh lashed out at BJP and Yogi government. He said that the BJP government does not want to give rights to backward people and Dalits. The government has neglected these sections. Yogi government’s bulldozer is running on this section. Akhilesh is promising a pension of Rs 3,000 every month to women as a counter to BJP’s Sakhi scheme in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. He also announced this in Gorakhpur on Saturday. Akhilesh said that if Samajwadi Party government is formed, women will be given a pension of three thousand rupees. Akhilesh promised to build a stadium bigger than Lucknow in Gorakhpur area.

Attacking the Yogi government on the issue of half the population, the SP chief said that attacks on women have increased in the state. There have been cases of attacks on women in Banda, Bhadohi, Kanpur, Deoria and Gorakhpur. Making a series of allegations, Akhilesh said that not a single student was admitted in more than 10 thousand primary schools of the state. The BJP government derailed the Samajwadi Ambulance System. Criminals have become rampant in this government. The policy of zero tolerance has failed. BJP’s bulldozer is running on specific classes and castes only. In case of criminals who are associated with BJP, the key of the bulldozer goes missing.

Recently, after the cabinet meeting, taking a jibe at Kangana Rawat for watching the film ‘Tejas’, Akhilesh said that the CM is watching a film which the public is not going to the cinema hall to watch. He accused farmers in UP of not getting compensation and the weight of fertilizer bags decreasing. Along with this, he cornered the government on the issue of teacher recruitment and Shikshamitras. Akhilesh said that teacher recruitment is not taking place in the state. Shikshamitra has been cheated. The government is discriminating in jobs. Referring to an incident in DDU recently, he taunted that the Vice Chancellor got beaten up in the CM’s city.


In SP’s mega rally, senior party leader Swami Prasad Maurya also took on the BJP government. Said that the total population of backward, Dalit and minorities in the society is 90 percent. That is why we have 90 out of 100 shares in the government. BJP is shying away from caste census. It is ending the reservation of backward people and Dalits. Giving a message to the barber community, he said that the history of this society has been glorious. Mahapadmananda ruled in Magadha. He belonged to the barber community. Now Bahujans are with us. The meeting was also addressed by former minister Ram Achal Rajbhar, MLA Sanjay Vidyarthi, National President of National Barber Mahasabha Azad Gandhi, State President Ram Bhawan Sharma.

BI News,Palamu: India – In a bid to raise awareness against the prevalent issue of child marriages in society, a seminar was organized at the ‘C’ block auditorium of the district under the initiative of the Department of Social Welfare.

The event, which focused on the enforcement of the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act 2006, was attended by media professionals from the district. District Social Welfare Officer Neeta Chauhan, addressing the gathering, emphasized the collective responsibility to halt child marriages, still existing in our society. She highlighted the necessity to understand the laws and provisions related to child marriages and announced the program aimed at promoting awareness on this issue.

During the seminar, the District Social Welfare Officer stressed the pivotal role of media in widespread dissemination of information about child marriages among the public. She appealed to everyone to support the district in its campaign to eradicate child marriages completely. She also mentioned that complaints related to child marriages could be reported to the Childline number 1098. Discussions were held regarding the responsibilities of the media, relevant laws related to child protection, and the precautions to be taken while reporting on child marriage-related stories. Additionally, the UNICEF project coordinator presented data related to child marriages through a presentation. The event was attended by Protection Officer K.D. Paswan, District Child Protection Officer Prakash Kumar, Chairman of the Child Welfare Committee.

BI News, Lucknow: Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Anupriya Patel has claimed that caste census will be conducted across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Union Minister was addressing the media on the occasion of the party’s foundation day in Lucknow on Saturday.

Taking aim at SP leader Akhilesh Yadav, he said that if he is so concerned about backward classes, Dalits and minorities, then why did he not get the caste census conducted while he was in the government? After Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, many steps have been taken for the welfare of backward people. He said that in 2024, Modi government will once again be formed at the Centre. He said that Samajwadi Party is working to mislead the public. Anuradha Patel said that facilities are being continuously provided to the general public through various schemes of the Central and State Government. Even today, free ration is being given to the poor so that no one sleeps hungry. He said that the situation of law and order when the Samajwadi Party government was in the state was not hidden from anyone.

BI News, New Delhi : Saudi Arabia has expressed interest in buying a multibillion-dollar stake in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the world’s richest cricket league. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s advisers have sounded out Indian government officials about moving the IPL into a holding company valued at as much as $30 billion, in which Saudi Arabia would then take a significant stake, people familiar with the matter said to the Bloomberg News.
The talks were held when the crown prince visited India in September, the report said, adding that the kingdom proposed investing as much as $5 billion into the league and help lead an expansion into other countries.


The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the custodian of the IPL, did not immediately respond to request for a comment.
IPL is one of the richest leagues in the world and has been attracting top players and coaches to India since its inaugural edition in 2008.
According to the report, while the Saudi government is keen to press on with a deal, the Modi govt and country’s all powerful sports body BCCI, are likely to take a call on the proposal after next year’s Lok Sabha poll. The BCCI is led by Jay Shah, the son of Home Minister Amit Shah.
Reacting on the news, the England cricket captain Ben Stokes said Saudi Arabia’s billions will continue to transform sport, and his one could be next if players are lured by massive contracts.

BI News, Raipur : The BJP released its manifesto for Chhatisgarh in capital Raipur on Friday. The saffron Party tried its best to woo the voters with its tall promises. Union Home Minister Amit Shah released the BJP manifesto titled ‘Modi’s Guarantee for Chhattisgarh 2023′ during a function here at Kushabhau Thakre Parisar, the saffron party’ state office here.


Yearly financial assistance to married women and landless agriculture labourers, paddy procurement at Rs 3,100 per quintal and cooking gas cylinder at Rs 500 to poor families are some of the key highlights of the BJP’s poll manifesto for Chhattisgarh released just four days ahead of the first phase of the assembly elections.
Filling one lakh vacant government posts in Chhattisgarh in two years and taking people of the state on a visit to Ram temple, which is being constructed in Ayodhya, are also among the promises of the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) mentioned in the manifesto.
Speaking at the launch of manifesto, Shah said, “An election manifesto is not just a manifesto for the BJP, but a ‘Sankalp Patra’ (document of resolution) for us.” Fulfilling our resolution, we (BJP-led central government) had established Chhattisgarh state (in 2000), he said.

“Chhattisgarh was transformed into a good state from being a BIMARU (laggard) state during 15 years of the BJP rule (2003-2018). Now I assure you on behalf of the BJP that we will work with the aim of making it a developed state in next five years,” he added.
BIMARU is an acronym for Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, a grouping of states that historically lagged in economic and social indicators.
Briefing about the promises in the manifesto, Shah said, “If BJP is voted to power in the state, ‘Krishi Unnati Scheme’ will be launched, under which 21 quintal per acre paddy will be procured (from farmers) at Rs 3100 per quintal.” The payment against paddy procurement will be done in one time, he added. The party-led government will also launch ‘Mahtari Vandan Scheme’, under which married women will be given a financial assistance of Rs 12,000 per year, he said.

Similarly, Deendayal Upadhyay Krishi Majdoor Yojana will be launched, under which landless agricultural labourers will be given Rs 10,000 per year, Shah said. Women from poor families will get cooking gas cylinders at Rs 500 each, while students will be given monthly travel allowance for going to college through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), the Union minister said. According to him, one lakh vacant government posts will be filled in two years if the BJP returns to power in the state.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, funds will be sanctioned for the construction of 18 lakh houses, while every house will have tap water connection within two years under the ‘Ghar Ghar Nirmal Jal Abhiyan’, he said. People of Chhattisgarh will be taken on a visit to Ram temple in Ayodhya, he said. Elections to the 90-member Chhattisgarh assembly will be held in two phases – on November 7 and 17.

National capital’s Air Quality Index (AQI) breached the 400 mark at multiple locations

BI News, New Delhi : As Delhi-NCR residents gasp for breath, air quality in several parts of the capital fell down to the ‘severe’ category on Friday and people are experiencing breathing problems and irritation in the eye among others.


In the morning there was a thick haze blanket in the skys of the national capital and adjoining areas as the Air Quality Index (AQI) breached the 400 mark at multiple locations,
As per Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the AQI stood at 498 in Mundka followed by 491 at Jahangirpuri. In the RK Puram area and at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (T3) the AQI was recorded at 486 and 473 respectively. Moreover, AQI at multiple locations in Noida also plunged to the ‘severe’ category with Sector 62, Sector 1 and Sector 116 recording 483, 413 and 415 respectively.

Delhi government on Thursday ordered for all the government and private primary schools to remain shut for the next two days. In the wake of the worsening air quality, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) invoked the third stage of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) on Thursday.

Stage III of the GRAP is implemented when the AQI hits Severe in the range of 401-450. As part of its response to combat pollution the state government can impose strict restrictions on BS III petrol and BS IV diesel four-wheelers in certain areas and may suspend physical classes in schools for primary grade children up to Class 5. The Delhi government has since suspended primary school classes.

He said that our government is rapidly developing industrial parks, centers of excellence and research and development centers in the state. Japan Industrial Township is included under the Integrated Industrial Township being developed on 750 acres in Greater Noida.

The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state of India and has huge human resources, skilled labor force and a large consumer market. Known as the ‘Food Basket’ of India, Uttar Pradesh has immense opportunities in the agriculture, food processing and dairy sectors. Varanasi is the hub of India’s major textile centers including the silk cluster. Tourism is also a priority sector, which can be a good destination for investors in Uttar Pradesh.

Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki, who was leading the Japanese team in the meeting, praised the immense opportunities for industry and trade in Uttar Pradesh, the work being done in the field of infrastructure and the personality of the Chief Minister and said that Japanese investors are excited by the policies here. This enthusiasm from investors will take the strong relations between India and Japan to new heights. BI News,New Delhi: The grand finale of Bharath Cycle Design Challenge (BCDC), organised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in partnership with Namma Nimma Cycle Foundation, is scheduled to take place on 4th November, 2023 in Bengaluru.

Chanakya University in Bengaluru will be hosting the final event of the Bharat Cycle Design Challenge. The event will witness the august presence of Chairman AICTE Prof. T.G.Sitharam, Former Indian Cricketer and Commentator Shri D Ganesh, Vice President of Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. Shri George Vergehese, Vice Chancellor of Visvesvaraya Technological University Dr. Vidyashankar and Vice Chancellor of Chanakya University Dr. Yashavanta Dongre.

AICTE in its ongoing efforts to foster innovation and creativity, launched the Bharath Cycle Design Challenge event in the first week of June, 2023 for college students. The challenge was planned with a vision to promote Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Make in India initiative, encourage innovation and creativity in design and making of electric and non e-electric cycles, develop sustainable transportation and provide solutions to the challenges facing urban mobility in India. Student teams were invited in the BCDC to design a cycle that is affordable, eco-friendly and suits the needs of the Indian market.

The competition called for 2D & 3D designs from a group of students and technical institutions to identify 04 bicycle designs. After a rigorous testing and evaluation process, 16 teams with their outstanding prototypes are selected to compete in the Grand Finale under four categories – Cargo EV, Cargo Non-EV, Commute EV and Commute Non-EV.
