Rakesh Masala’s new products captured the attention of visitors at the MSME stall, while MBA Makhanawala’s innovative offerings, including 9 different flavors of roasted makhana and makhana cookies, became instant favorites at the startup stall. Shravan Kumar Roy, a representative from MBA Makhanawala, highlighted their unique products, saying, “The restaurant product is special this time and is attracting people a lot.”

BI News, Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren held a high-level meeting with officials at the Jharkhand Secretariat in Ranchi regarding the proposed new campus of Ranchi University. In this meeting, the officials from the Department of Higher and Technical Education presented the detailed master plan for the new campus, which will be spread across 87 acres in the Cheri area of the capital city.

The Chief Minister carefully reviewed the entire master plan and provided several essential suggestions and guidelines. He emphasized the need to develop Ranchi University’s new campus in a way that gives it a unique identity. The new campus will comprise academic, administrative, recreational, residential, buffer, and extension zones.

Chief Minister Soren highlighted the importance of maintenance-free construction for all structures within the campus. He directed the officials to ensure that the buildings are constructed based on the geographical layout (contour) of the land. Detailed planning, considering the terrain, should precede the commencement of any construction work.

Additionally, the Chief Minister stressed the need for well-planned parking facilities in every zone of the campus. He emphasized the importance of maintaining greenery throughout the campus and instructed officials to install solar panels. Emergency exit routes, in addition to the main entrance and exit paths, were also suggested for the convenience of students and staff.

BI News, Lucknow: In Varanasi, IIT BHU campus, angry students took to the streets over the obscenity issue with a female student. Teaching and research work was halted. Meanwhile, Director Prof. PK Jain and many teachers, who had come to talk to the students, were taken hostage in the Gymkhana Club grounds. But Director Jain assured the students that the culprits would be arrested within seven days. After this, the students ended their protest. Police Commissioner Mutha Ashok Jain has sent his report to the Prime Minister’s Office. Meanwhile, SHO of Lanka outpost Ashwini Pandey has been put on the line.


It is being told that such a big demonstration had never taken place in the history of IIT BHU. This is the first time that more than a thousand students came out on the streets. Point to be noted is that Students are angry over the obscenity of a girl student near Karmanveer Baba Temple in the IIT campus at around 1.30 am on Wednesday. The IIT Student Parliament had issued a circular in the night itself calling for a protest on Thursday morning. In the morning, a large number of students gathered at the intersection near Rajputana Hostel and started raising slogans. Holding the slogan of unsafe IIT campus, the students started demanding strict action in the matter. The students condemned the incident and demanded that barricading and CC cameras be installed at all entry points into the campus. Strict action should be taken against those who carried out the incident.


Chief Proctor of IIT BHU, Prof. Sunil Mohan arrived. He assured immediate action as per rules on security related demands, but the students did not agree. ACP Bhelupur Praveen Singh was also asked to go back. The SP tried to convince him, but it did not work.
In view of the protest by the students, internet service was also stopped on the IIT campus. The aim of the IIT BHU administration was that the protest should not get much expansion.
The students themselves informed about the shutdown of internet service at the protest site. There is a ban on talking to media persons.
Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma said that the culprits will be arrested soon and strict action will be taken. He told that after talking to the Education Ministry, a survey will be conducted to build a wall between IIT and BHU. The report will be prepared in a week.

Salima Tete (6’, 36’), Navneet Kaur (36’), Vandana Katariya (49’), and Neha (60’) netted goals for India.

With this triumph, the Indian squad claimed the top spot in the points table, amassing 15 points from five matches. Meanwhile, Korea, having garnered seven points from five games, concluded their group stage campaign in fourth place. As per the standings, both teams are set to clash once more in the Semi-Finals.

Similar to their previous matches, India initiated the game with an aggressive high-pressing strategy and relentless attacking, yielding early dividends. In the opening moments of the match Salima Tete (6′) left unmarked within the circle, beautifully slotted a goal, granting the hosts an early advantage.

With the scoreline in their favour, India sustained the offensive onslaught against Korea with frequent circle penetrations. Although they came close to notching a second goal on several occasions, they failed to capitalize on those opportunities. As the opening quarter concluded, India maintained a 1-0 lead.

The second quarter mirrored the first, with India dominating possession and orchestrating swift passes to keep Korea on the defensive. India even managed to secure two penalty corners during this period, but couldn’t capitalize on them. Despite their continued efforts and numerous opportunities, the Indian Team was unable to increase their lead, and they headed into halftime with a 1-0 advantage.

Determined to make a comeback in the game, Korea launched an aggressive offensive assault in the third quarter and even approached the goal with potential equalizing opportunities on a couple of occasions. Nevertheless, India swiftly turned the tables by counter-attacking, reasserting their dominance. Their persistence paid off when they won a penalty corner following which Navneet Kaur (36′) unleashed a powerful shot to find the back of the net. Just moments later, Salima Tete (36′) displayed her prowess by scoring a remarkable field goal, elevating India’s lead to 3-0, which stayed intact by the end of the penultimate quarter.

Students are protesting in BHU campus regarding this incident and no guilty undesirable element has been arrested yet.

Taking information from the students over phone, Congress State President Ajay Rai said, “It would be an understatement to say that law and order and jungle raj are continuously deteriorating in Uttar Pradesh, the truth of which can now be seen in Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where the BHU campus is The IIT student is not safe inside.
